These Terms & Conditions govern your use of carelinky.com and all related services provided by CareLinky Technologies Private Limited. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
CareLinky Technologies Private Limited ("CareLinky", "we", "us") is a healthcare marketplace and technology platform incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with registered office at 4th Floor, Ganesh Meridian, S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat — 380054, India.
CareLinky is a discovery and booking platform — not a medical service provider. We facilitate the connection between patients and doctors. All clinical decisions are made solely by the treating doctor. CareLinky does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the platform. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must manage the account and any bookings on your behalf. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law and must not be prohibited from using our platform by any applicable law.
Doctors must hold a valid and current registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the relevant State Medical Council and must be licensed to practise medicine in India.
You must register an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to update it if it changes. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@carelinky.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Each user may hold only one patient account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited and may result in permanent termination of all associated accounts. You may delete your account at any time via Settings or by emailing privacy@carelinky.com.
CareLinky grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for its intended purposes. Permitted use includes searching for doctors, booking appointments, leaving verified reviews, and managing your account.
The platform is not a medical emergency service. In a medical emergency, call 112 or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Doctors must ensure all information in their listing is accurate, including qualifications, MCI registration number, specialties, clinic address, consultation fees, and availability. Listing false credentials is prohibited and may result in immediate removal and referral to the relevant Medical Council.
CareLinky manually verifies MCI registration numbers and clinic addresses before publishing a listing. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of clinical quality. Doctors are independent practitioners and are not employees or agents of CareLinky. The doctor–patient relationship and all clinical decisions are exclusively the responsibility of the treating doctor.
An appointment is confirmed when you receive a WhatsApp confirmation from CareLinky. You may cancel a confirmed appointment up to 2 hours before the scheduled time at no charge. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment are not eligible for a refund of any platform convenience fee. If a doctor cancels your appointment, you will receive a full refund of any platform fee paid.
For token-based (walk-in) appointments, queue positions are approximate and subject to change. CareLinky provides live queue updates as a convenience but does not guarantee specific wait times. Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in restrictions on future bookings.
Searching and viewing profiles is free for patients. CareLinky may charge a small platform convenience fee for certain booking features. Consultation fees are set by and paid directly to the doctor or clinic. All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. CareLinky does not store your full payment card details.
Refund policy: Full refunds of platform convenience fees are issued for cancellations made more than 2 hours before the appointment, for doctor-initiated cancellations, and for duplicate charges or technical errors. No refund is issued for cancellations within 2 hours or for patient no-shows. To request a refund, contact support@carelinky.com within 7 days with your booking reference number. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. All fees include GST at the applicable rate.
Reviews may only be submitted by patients who have completed a verified appointment through the platform. Reviews must be honest, based on your genuine first-hand experience, free from offensive or defamatory language, and not incentivised by any payment or benefit. CareLinky may remove reviews that violate these standards. We do not manipulate ratings or give preferential ranking based on commercial relationships.
Submitting a false, paid, or defamatory review may constitute an offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
All content created by CareLinky — including the logo, brand name, website design, software, and compiled data — is owned by or licensed to CareLinky and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without prior written permission.
By submitting content to the platform (reviews, photos, profile information), you grant CareLinky a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and display that content on the platform and in related marketing. You retain ownership of your content.
The following is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and legal action: providing false credentials or misleading information; posting fake or paid reviews; impersonating any doctor, patient, or CareLinky representative; using bots or automated tools to scrape data; sending unsolicited commercial messages to users; manipulating search rankings or review scores; listing as a doctor without a valid medical licence; and uploading illegal, defamatory, or obscene content.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. CareLinky does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. While we verify doctor credentials at the time of listing, we do not continuously monitor changes to registration status, availability, or fees. Patients should confirm appointment details directly with the clinic before visiting.
Nothing on the platform constitutes medical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician for any medical condition. CareLinky makes no guarantee about the quality of care or clinical outcomes resulting from appointments booked through the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareLinky and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profit. We are not responsible for clinical outcomes or medical decisions made by doctors listed on the platform.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed ₹5,000 (Indian Rupees Five Thousand) or the total amount you paid to CareLinky in the preceding 3 months, whichever is lower.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CareLinky and its directors, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or any content you submit to the platform.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@carelinky.com. CareLinky may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, provide false information, engage in fraud, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting legal@carelinky.com.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer is Arjun Mehta, reachable at grievance@carelinky.com or +91 80000 00000, Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM IST. We respond to grievances within 30 days.
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date, display a notice on the platform for at least 14 days, and notify registered users via email or WhatsApp. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance. Minor changes such as typographical corrections may be made without prior notice.
